Graz Airport (GRZ) is ideal for domestic and some European direct flights. For intercontinental journeys, long-haul and many connecting flights, however, the route runs via Vienna Airport (VIE) – Austria's largest hub. Around 200 kilometres separate Graz from Vienna; by train that means changing trains, fixed schedules and handling your luggage. A direct door-to-door transfer saves your nerves, is predictable, and gets you to the terminal exactly when you need to be there.

When to book your transfer

For trips to Vienna we recommend booking at least the day before – especially for early morning flights, when public transport barely runs. As a rule of thumb, for international departures from Vienna we plan a buffer so you're at check-in around two and a half to three hours before departure.
