1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all bookings and services (transfers, shuttle and chauffeur/driving services) agreed via shuttletransfer.at, by telephone, e-mail or other communication channels.
2. Conclusion of Contract
- A booking represents a request/order by the customer.
- The contract is concluded as soon as we confirm the booking (e.g., by email) or – in the case of online payment – as soon as the payment has been successfully processed and confirmation is issued.
- Obvious errors (e.g., typing/pricing errors) entitle us to correction.
3. Scope of Services
- The scope of service is the journey defined in the booking confirmation (pickup location, destination, date/time, vehicle class, number of persons, if applicable additional services).
- Special requests (e.g., child seats, stopovers, bulky luggage, pet transport) must be announced in advance and – if possible – confirmed or charged separately.
- The customer ensures that the booking details are correct and that they are reachable at the pickup time.
4. Prices / Taxes
- All prices are in EUR including statutory VAT (gross prices), unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Additional costs may arise if the scope of services changes (e.g., additional stops, waiting time, significant detours at the customer's request).
5. Payment (Stripe)
- Online payments are processed via Stripe.
- In the event of failed payments, chargebacks, or unauthorized reversals, processing and bank fees may be charged.
6. Waiting Time / No-Show
- Pickup at Address: Free waiting time included is 10 minutes from the agreed pickup time. Thereafter, waiting time may be charged.
- Airport Pickup: If a flight number has been provided, we will accommodate flight shifts where possible. Free waiting time included is 60 minutes from actual landing. Thereafter, waiting time may be charged.
- No-Show is deemed to have occurred in particular if the customer does not appear, is not reachable, or essential pickup data is incorrect.
7. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in text form (e.g., email). The time of receipt is decisive.
Special cases (e.g., events, weddings, long-distance trips with reserved slots) may have deviating cancellation periods if explicitly agreed in the offer/booking confirmation.
8. Rebooking / Changes
Changes (time, pickup location, stopovers) must be announced as early as possible. Rebookings are subject to availability. Additional costs will be charged.
9. Customer Obligations / Safety
- Safety regulations (mandatory seat belts, etc.) must be observed.
- Luggage must be safely stowable. Transport may be refused in case of excess luggage or dangerous objects.
- The customer is liable for soiling/damage caused by them (e.g., interior cleaning, repair costs).
10. Liability
- We are liable – as far as legally permissible – only for intent and gross negligence.
- We assume no liability – as far as legally permissible – for delays due to force majeure, weather, traffic conditions, official measures, or security checks.
- The customer is liable for missed connections/appointments, unless due to intent or gross negligence on our part.
11. No Right of Withdrawal
For services to be provided at a specific time/period (such as passenger transport on fixed dates), there is no statutory right of withdrawal (right of cancellation) under the Austrian Distance Selling Act (FAGG), provided the legal requirements are met.
12. Privacy
Information on data processing can be found in the Privacy Policy on shuttletransfer.at.
13. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
- Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention.
- For entrepreneurs, the place of jurisdiction is Graz.
- For consumers, the mandatory statutory jurisdiction provisions apply.
14. Severability Clause
Should individual provisions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
