The circuit is nowhere near Vienna
Almost every international visitor flies into Vienna, then discovers the Red Bull Ring is 200 kilometres away in a valley in Styria. It is a real drive: motorway, then mountain roads, then a village called Spielberg. Meanwhile Graz Airport sits 85 kilometres from the gates — and most people have never heard of it.
Vienna (VIE) has the connections. Graz (GRZ) has the proximity — an hour instead of two and a quarter. We collect from both, with a name sign and live flight tracking.
Knittelfeld and Zeltweg have stations, but you still need the last few kilometres — and on a Grand Prix weekend, so does everyone else. It works. It is not comfortable.
Staying a week and touring Styria? Rent one. Here for the racing? You will sit in the same queue, someone stays sober all weekend, and the car spends three days in a field.
Parking at the Red Bull Ring is free and there is plenty of it. The parking is not the problem — the roads into the valley are. The circuit itself advises arriving before 7 a.m. on Formula 1 and MotoGP weekends.

What we will collect you in
For a race weekend the V-Class is the obvious answer — seven people and their luggage in one vehicle. Travelling alone or as a pair, you ride in the S- or E-Class.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class
For guests who would rather arrive in the back seat than behind the wheel after a long day trackside.

From the airport to the gates
The Red Bull Ring is at Red Bull Ring Strasse 1, 8724 Spielberg, in the Mur valley in Styria. We collect from both Austrian airports, from your hotel, or from the station if you have come by train.
The times below assume clear roads. On race weekends we plan your pick-up considerably earlier and watch the traffic on the morning.

MotoGP and Formula 1 run over three days. Most of our guests book the weekend rather than a single trip — out and back each day, or car and chauffeur at your disposal throughout.

Not everyone at the Ring is driving. Track days, Classics and sports car events bring partners, guests, mechanics and spectators — and they face the same journey home as everyone else.
We drive to every date at the Red Bull Ring, regardless of the size of the event. Even for two people. Even midweek. Even when nobody else there has booked a chauffeur.

What does a transfer to Spielberg cost?
A fixed price, not a meter. The return journey and waiting time are included — even if it runs late. There is no race-day surcharge. You will normally have a binding quote within 12 to 24 hours.

We collect from Vienna Airport (VIE) and Graz Airport (GRZ), from Vienna, Graz, Klagenfurt and Salzburg, and from hotels across Styria. The destination is Spielberg, Knittelfeld, Zeltweg or wherever you are staying in the Mur valley. Other Austrian and neighbouring cities on request.
Getting to the Red Bull Ring – common questions
It is roughly 200 kilometres and about two and a quarter hours by road — the circuit is not near Vienna, despite what the flight booking suggests. We meet you in the arrivals hall with a name sign, track your flight in real time, and drive you straight to Spielberg or to your hotel in the Mur valley. If your flight is late, we wait at no extra charge.
No, and this catches most visitors out. The circuit is in Spielberg in Styria, in the Mur valley — around 200 km from Vienna but only 75 km from Graz. If you have not booked flights yet, Graz Airport (GRZ) is by far the more convenient arrival point, roughly an hour from the gates.
Graz Airport (GRZ), at around 85 kilometres or just over an hour by car. Vienna (VIE) has far more international connections but is more than twice the distance. Many visitors fly into Vienna simply because they did not realise Graz existed as an option — we serve both.
Honestly, it depends on your plans. If you want to explore Styria for a week, rent a car. If you are here for the racing, a rental car means sitting in the same queues as everyone else, one person in your group staying sober all weekend, and paying for a vehicle that spends three days parked in a field. Parking at the circuit is free — the traffic is the problem, not the parking.
There are stations at Knittelfeld and Zeltweg, but you still need to cover the last few kilometres to the circuit, and on Grand Prix weekends both the trains and the connecting shuttles are extremely busy. It works, but it is not comfortable, and it does not solve the journey back after the race.
The circuit itself recommends arriving before 7 a.m. on Formula 1 and MotoGP weekends. The bottleneck is the roads into the valley, not the motorway. We plan your pick-up accordingly and watch the traffic on the morning — if it builds early, we collect you earlier.
Yes, and it is the single most common reason people book with us. We agree a meeting point and an approximate time. If it runs late, we wait — waiting time is included in the fixed price. You deal with neither the queue out nor the drive home.

Yes. German and English are our standard languages, and our chauffeurs are used to international guests, business travellers and private clients. You will not be navigating this in German.
